CoachOS by ClubhouseOS

Teach the lesson. Approve the follow-up. That's the paperwork.

CoachOS is the instruction part of ClubhouseOS, for golf professionals who teach. A recorded lesson becomes notes on the student's record and a follow-up you approve. Bookings, packages and what you owe the club sit in the same place.

Built with a working PGA professional. The lesson below uses sample data.

One lesson, start to finish

Dana Whitcomb teaches at Bramble Ridge. Monday, 9:00 AM: Priya Nair, the first lesson of a five-lesson package.

  1. Confirm consent.Dana confirms Priya agreed to be recorded, and that confirmation stays with the recording. A junior needs a parent's consent.
  2. Record the lesson.Dana clips on a small wireless mic, presses record and teaches as usual.
  3. Transcribe and match. The recording is transcribed and matched to the lesson on Dana's calendar, so it lands on the right student.
  4. Summarize. What they worked on, the drills and the homework, pulled out of the lesson into a short structured note.
  5. Draft the follow-up.An email to Priya, drafted from the note, for Dana to edit or send.
  6. Dana reviews it.Approve, edit or skip. Nothing is sent without her.
  7. It stays on the record.Next Friday, Dana opens Priya's record and sees the homework she set.

Hi Priya, good work today. The main thing was staying in your posture through impact. Before your next round, hit 20 balls of the chair drill, and keep the pump drill in your warm-up. See you Friday at 2. Dana

The business side

Lessons, clinics and packages in one list, with the revenue share you owe the club worked out from your agreement instead of a Sunday-night spreadsheet.

Dana's agreement with Bramble Ridge is 20% of lesson revenue. Package lessons count at the per-lesson price.

Your students at the club

When the facility also runs on ClubhouseOS, a student's record shows more than lessons.

Owen Pratt, Grace Lindqvist and Sam Whitaker each had a lesson with Dana this week, and each was on the tee sheet Saturday morning. Because it's one customer record, Dana sees their rounds, range buckets and grill tabs next to her lesson notes, and the club can see which of its golfers are also her students.

That is activity, not credit. A student who books a tee time after a lesson might have booked it anyway, so CoachOS reports what students did at the club and doesn't claim the coach caused it.

Club activity appears where the facility runs on ClubhouseOS. Elsewhere, CoachOS covers your lessons and your business side.

Alongside the tools you already use

  • Where students find youKeep the directory and booking links you have. CoachOS starts once a student has booked.
  • Your calendarRead, not written. It tells CoachOS who each lesson was with, so recordings land on the right student.
  • Your video appKeep it. CoachOS captures what was said in the lesson; your video app captures the swing.
  • Your inboxFollow-ups are sent only after you approve them. Nothing goes to a student on its own.
